I would've posted this yesterday but I was too much of an emotional wreck
:bigthumb326722007:
some of you may have seen my picture that i posted yesterday and what I wrote to inform you all a bit. 13 years ago yesterday that the World Trade Center, better known as the Twin Towers, in New York City, New York collapsed. The reasoning for the collapse is because a terrorist group call Al Qida hijacked 4 planes. Two of which were flown into the Twin Towers, one crashed into the Pentagon and the last was taken back over by the passengers. It was crashed on it's way to the White House, in a little town called Shanksville Pensillvania.
There were so many lives that were affected by this incident and by the fallowing war. To any American, this day lives forever in infamy. I'm sure that anyone that was born in the year 1996 or before could tell you exactly what they were doing when this happened... I know I can.
This is my memorial piece this year.
Never Forget... September 11th, 2001
But you may not be able to grasp exactly what this day means for Americans. This video sums it up better than I could.

A Dads Poem A Dad's Poem:thumb105634094:
Her hair was up in a pony tail,
her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
and she couldn't wait to go..
But her mommy tried to tell her,
that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
if she went to school alone.
But she was not afraid;
she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates
of why he wasn't there today.
But still her mother worried,
for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
she tried to keep her daughter home.
But the little girl went to school,
eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees
a dad who never calls.
There were daddies along the wall in back,
for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
anxious in their seats.
One by one the teacher called,
a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
as seconds slowly passed.
At last the teacher called her name,
every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
for a man
